Then, the PRP is injected strategically and carefully into specific areas in the face. The PRP goes to work triggering the facial tissues to produce more collagen and other supporting tissues, leading to improvements in skin texture, facial plumpness, smoothing out wrinkles, and improving the complexion. There is no downtime associated with this procedure, and results become gradually apparent over time. Unfortunately, the results are not permanent and a maintenance treatment is usually necessary every year or so in order to maintain the rejuvenated look.
